After about a year with no AC, I recently moved to Texas and went to get my AC fixed because it's a necessity here. The mechanic checked everything out, and realized there wasn't anything wrong with the AC itself. Apparently the freon was just empty, he added freon and the AC has worked just fine for the past 2 months. The mechanic mentioned that whoever wanted to "fix" it before must've drained the freon because there was nothing wrong other than the freon being drained, no leaks either. So it seems as though Goodyear drained my freon and tried to charge me $300 to "fix" it. Would not recommend this place to anyone, and please be sure to double check any new, unrelated repairs that may arise during your visit.
