  • I've been coming here for 5 years. I've probably seen all of the technicians here at least once. My favorites are Tracey and Sam - they're the best! I usually get gel manicures. I would rate each of them 5 stars if I could do so for the individual. If I could rate my last experience, I would give it 1 star. I was convinced by the associate doing my manicure that I should try SNS powder for 'just $45' and it 'lasts a whole month' and was so worth it over gel nails. So I tried it. Big mistake. The nails literally felt HEAVY. Within days my thick hair was getting caught under the nail. And then, after 2 weeks, one of them broke off. So much for lasting 1 month! (See picture) So I came back to get that nail fixed. SOMEHOW I was convinced I should get that one fixed PLUS 'touch up' the rest for 'just $15 total'. I was upset I had already paid so much for these already, so decided to do the touch up so it would 'last 4 more weeks' as he promised. Did that happen? What do you think? Two weeks later, two of them snapped off in one day. And I was just typing in my cube! The rest looked so thick and honestly just not good anymore. So I went back to Polished tonight to remove these forever and go back to my regular gel nails. THIS is when I hear this is going to cost me $10 just to remove with the drill. So, in total, I spent $70 on this awful SNS nail dip powder for a lackluster experience for nails that didn't even last that long. Maybe I shouldn't have been gullible enough to fall for the upsell for the nail dip powder. That's for you to decide. This associate though is someone I've seen at least 3 times before and I thought he had my best interest in mind, since I said I don't have much time to get my nails done every few weeks. I am very dissatisfied with this SNS nail powder experience and I encourage everyone NOT to do it! Other tips about this place: 1. The amount of time associates spend on mani/pedis is inconsistent. Countless times I've seen people who start their pedicures at the exact same time, like a pair of friends - and have one finish 15-20 minutes before the other. Shouldn't there be a set amount of time? 2. Never ever come here on a Sunday. They are open for just 4 hours and are SLAMMED. Don't do it. You will regret it. 3. Whether or not you will get a good mani/pedi is the luck of the draw. Some of the technicians are great and thorough. Others are just so-so. But you can't make appointments with a specific technician on the weekends, so it really is just luck on who you get. 4. And again - DON'T FALL FOR THE $45 NAIL POWDER!!!!
