  • Totally spectacular gym located on Sahara. I never would think a gym could be noted for its ambiance... but City Athletic has it for dayz! I went here around 830pm on a Friday ... the parking lot was wide open and plenty of parking. When you first walk in you're greeted by a friendly and courteous staff. The dark lighting is pretty outstanding... it is very peaceful in the cardio area, not bright and almost surreal vibe... around the gym there are chandeliers and lighting accents - hello selfie takers, this gym has the BEST light for it. As for equipment - if you can't get a good workout here at City Athletic... you mind as well bust ur ass over to Planet Fitness with the rest of the pizza eating Joe's. Plenty of equipment and they even have some futuristic dumbbells that make me feel like Iron Man when I curl with them... or maybe Robocop? All in all... this gym is THE SPOT for a fantastic experience - not just a workout (but you get that too) Note - there is a supplement/smoothie shop in the gym as well... but it was closed when I got there... I've heard some excellent things about their shakes!
