| - I have been to How-Lee twice for pick-up, as I work right down the street. First, let me say this: I do not like Chinese food. I have had the most Americanized, disgusting experiences with it since I was a child, and have therefore sworn off the cuisine entirely. That was, until I tried out How-Lee. On my first visit, I got the orange chicken. I believe they must have misunderstood me and given me General Tso's, because that stuff had some KICK! I got the combination plate with chicken fried rice and an egg roll. Both were what I expect on average from an American Chinese joint. On my most recent visit, I decided to switch it up and get the Kung Po chicken with steamed white rice. Holy cow. From the veggies, to the sauce, to the chicken, this stuff was amazing. I was eating vegetables without having them hidden in a sauce. Amazing. 10/10. Hot, but not too hot. Have a glass of water handy. Overall great experience for someone who has been otherwise scorned by Pittsburgh Chinese food.
