  • Today marks the 4th day of recovery from lower jaw advancement surgery (bilateral sagittal split osteotomy). Dr. Golding performed the surgery in just under two hours this past Tuesday, and I could not be any more pleased with the recovery process (believe me, I was so nervous beforehand, since this was my first surgery)! I have not had any pain since surgery, just swelling around the jaw area. I cannot say enough about my surgeon, Dr. Golding. He has such a caring bedside manner that is rare to find these days, and believe me, I've consulted with many that have scared me off, up until I met Dr. Golding. He been so kind and reassuring throughout the process from start to finish. The day of surgery I was extremely nervous, but he reassured me that all will be fine, and it totally was! By the way, he has placed an implant a few months ago and I was in and out of the office within a half hour without any pain. I am not kidding. It was so easy and painless!!! My daughter also has had all of her wisdom teeth extracted a couple of years ago and was back to school in a couple of days. If you are considering jaw or oral surgery, I highly, highly recommend consulting with Dr. Golding!
