  • I wanted to love Stock and Stable. It is literally a minute drive from where I live. I love the vibe of this restaurant. However, the food just isn't great. I had one of the crab appetizers (I don't remember what it was called) and it was a disappointment, especially because the bartender had told us that it was one of their more popular appetizers. I had the NY steak which was just okay. The parsley pesto and butter on the side made it good but I like my steak to be good as it is, without the need to put anything on it. Cocktails were pretty good.
