| - Grand Lux Cafe is a good place to grab a bite anytime since it's 24 hours. It's owned by Cheesecake Factory or part of Cheesecake Factory, and the menu and prices rival that.
Now, I came here with a few buddies of mine on our last Vegas trip and the food and service is what you'll expect at any Cheesecake Factory chain. The food here was OK, and portions were huge, even for the lunch menu. I wasn't able to finish my pasta dish, and those that know me know I don't have a small appetite. My friends ordered their pizza, salad, and other pasta choices off their lunch menu (Had about 10 or so to choose from) and we were content with our lunch.
Honestly people, the food here is really just OK, and I'm puzzled with the 5 star ratings some people have left. I mean, it IS just Cheesecake Factory inside the Venetian that's renamed Grand Lux Cafe. If this was located in Los Angeles or San Francisco, this is nothing more than a chain restaurant to me.
I'm giving this place 4 stars for being open 24 hours, which is a big plus in my books and the prices are very fair being in Las Vegas. The food here is just what you'll expect before going in. Large portions, fair prices, but nothing to write home about. Will I come back? Of course, but seriously, there are better food out there. Come here for grubbin' food at any hour without putting a dent in your wallet while on the strip.
