  • My Son send me a text early in the morning, on Mother's Day wishing me a Happy Mother's day and to let me know we had a Brunch scheduled at 2PM and asked me to wear something nice and he'd be at my house around 1PM to pick me up and not to be late. I was very happy when he picked me up and told me he tried to make Resevations at a bigger very well known Resort just up the street, but it didn't work out, so we were going to T Cook's @ The Royal Palms. I was elated with joy because I'd rather go to a Boutique Hotel any day which is more my style and to be lucky enough to eat @ T Cook's which is one of my favorites spot, I was in heaven already. It had been a while since I'd been there last, which made our visit that much sweeter! We got there and were greeted as soon as we arrived by the many Valets and Host. We were escorted from Valet through the property to the Restaurant and didn't even wait for a minute before we were seated. We sat outside on the patio; lucky for us it was unseasonably cool although the restaurant was prepared and ready with large coolers the size of a car, I'm not kidding either. Anyway, I'm getting off track here, they served bottomless Fresh Peach Bellini's to start and the Seafood, Fruit, and Salad Buffet was not only Beautiful, but very fresh and always restocked without a morsel missing. I'm embarrassed to say I forgot our Server's name (Too many Bellini's) but she was cute as a button, friendly, and so responsive she had the ability to know what we needed before we asked. Our entrees were over the top yummy, cooked to perfection with plenty to share. Too Full for dessert our server suggested we take a peek just in case we wanted a to-go container. The desserts are usually my fav part of a meal but I had leftovers already from my main course, because the portions were very ample especially after the buffet beginnings. Servers' know best, she told me to try the blondies and the mousse, so without hesitation I grab a few sweet treats to share at the table. BTW: she is the reason I packed a few to go (My tummy & butt thank you). My only suggestions would be music loud enough to hear, creme brûlée on the dessert table, and list the contents of salads since so many have food allergies, etc (one of our guest was a Vegan). I applaud you and thank you for a wonderful Mother's Day Brunch! Cheers!!!
