| - This review is based off of several visits to this salon. It's really hard to rate them because they're very hit or miss. You could have a five star experience could be a one. So, I'll give you the good the bad and the okay.
Good: they have a good variety of colors. The do sns, gel, chrome and regular polish. They provide a complimentary drink that includes white wine, red wine, soda or water. This salon is open on Sundays and they are often not busy so you can go right in and be seated immediately.
Bad: the nail techs here don't have a gift for listening. You can tell them one thing and they will ask you again or just do what they want. For example, I asked for my nails to be soaked off and she kept insisting that she just take them off. She proceeded to rip them off and it was so painful. Eventually, she says she thinks we should soak them off...THAT'S WHAT I SAID WHEN I WALKED IN THE DOOR.
I repeatedly asked for a marble design, showed a picture for reference and the nail tech still asked if I wanted a design when it was time to paint ?.
They push heavily for additional services like pedicures, the cat eye colors that cost more, eyebrows... anything. I understand they're a business and want to make money but after I have declined three times, there's no need to ask me again.
Okay: the prices here are okay, not super high but not low either. They charge for coffin shapes and cut downs. They don't pay great attention to detail.
For example, they didn't remove all of my previous polish before putting on my new coat. Sometimes the nail shapes are uneven.
Customer service is inconsistent. Sometimes they greet you sometimes they don't. Sometimes they'll change a color for you if you don't like it no problem, others they seem to have a real problem with it.
I return here because I know my nails won't be horrible lol sad I know. They're not the best and not the worse. This is kind of a place you go when your regular spot is packed (that's how I ended up here in the first place).
