  • Meh... While the atmosphere is kinda cool and retro, they really miss up the vibe by playing techno music as opposed to period (1950'sand 60's). Also, Lo (aka: #216) is just about the rudest and most unfriendly bartender I've ever encountered--just downright ornery. When I gently questioned the happy hour policy, she responded with a, "Listen, Sweetheart..." Her condescending attitude was ridiculous and inappropriate. When I asked her why she had the audacity to call me "Sweetheart" in a particularly terse tone, her response was that she calls all of her patrons by that name. Really? Is that what they taught you in bartending school, Lo? I think not. Should I just call you, "Server 216." The only reason I didn't give just one star is because the food and drinks are decent. The service is terrible. It's sad... Valley Ho has been a local treasure.
