| - I'm sort of torn about this place. On the plus side, it's fairly large, indoors (a plus for Cleveland winters), and there's lots of stuff for kids to do. It's cheap, easy to find, and has a huge parking lot.
The downside? Well, it looks STRANGE inside. It's like a huge warehouse that's as tall as it is wide, and it feels super empty. Also, it's in need of a major spruce-up job (however, I did see some guys repainting and sketching a mural on the wall, which is great). It just sort of reminded me of a random arcade in a lake town that is only used in the summer, and has thus not undergone any changes or renovations since its institution several decades ago. The arcade games are pretty old-school, which I actually like, but even the newer games just look depressing. There are plush couches in the middle of the place, which are kind of cozy, but I was also sort of scared to sit on them in a "who knows what kind of food/vomit/etc has graced these couches lately." They looked very old.
Maybe it's also because this place is located in the MIDDLE OF NOWHERE in Medina. That definitely has a lot to do with the fact that I was sort of depressed when pulling up to the lot. It's in a huuuuge lot with barely anything else there other than an antique mall.
The jungle play area is kind of cute, but a bit claustrophobic. $4 seems to be a lot to charge per kid for what they actually get, but I guess they've gotta make money somehow. And I appreciate that neither I nor my 5-
month-old were charged when meeting other moms with older kids.
I'd probably go again, but only if there were no other options available.
