While I don't know if they LINQ would have been my first choice if I was going for the traditional "Vegas experience" it was great for my first visit since I knew I had a lot on the itinerary and really only planned to sleep & change clothes. The check-in is a little hidden and the automated check-in didn't like me so I waited patiently for a desk attendant. She was pleasant & got me off on the right track.
Found my way to my room - and like others have mentioned - my strip view was quite limited. But at night it was perfect because I didn't have to deal with the glare of all the lights. However, I did have to deal cope with the music blaring from the Carnaval bar in the courtyard; that was fun. The room was a little small, but since I was by myself it was perfect. With one roommate, I would have been comfortable; any more than that would have been a little cramped.
- No room service was definitely a bummer. And while there's several options in the hotel, the one I called didn't take orders over the phone. Weird, but ok.
- Gym was small for the size of the hotel in my opinion, but I guess people don't usually come to Vegas and include gym time in their itinerary.
- Didn't gamble, but there's a variety of options available for those that want to.
- Location is perfect being somewhat central to the rest of the strip. Made it easy to get around and go about my day.
Would I stay here again? Absolutely. Got a great deal and would definitely keep this on my list for next time.
