My group of 3 bought a day pass for $12 and rode from the south end to the north to begin exploring the strip. The ride was OK, could't see that much as it goes way behind the strip buildings. It was about a 15 minute walk down from the platform and to the Ceaser's (not 5 minutes that the snippy monorail worker said). We never did get back on the monorail because it was always a long walk to get on it again! There were never any signs pointing us to stations, as it seemed like the goal in Vegas is to keep tourists wandering around, so helpful signs were no place to be found. Luckily we had smart phones to guide us, and some helpful locals.
