Stanleys makes some great sausages. On flavor alone they are a 4 or 5 star rating. However, they are very over priced. You are paying close to 8 bucks a pound for some spicy Hungarian sausages. Sausages are not made with the premium meat. Its nice to get for a special treat but at steak price its a bit absurd.
The pierogis are not all that they are cracked up to. I tried the meat pierogis last time I went to buy some sausages after reading the reviews on here. They were frozen and reheated. They tasted oily and very bland. The bacon bits that came with it were the only part that was good. I would never order them again.
The old lady in the shop is down right rude. I don't care if shes old school or from another country. In this country and in every other country you treat customers with respect. Especially when you are charging them an arm and a leg for some pork products.
I would be giving this place a 1 if it was soley based on service and value. The sausages are that good. Do yourself a favor and skip on the pierogis and the formalities. When you go in just say give me some delicious overpriced sausages you old grump.
