Staff is friendly and it's independently owned. I give them props for that. It's better than going to Starbucks. Major knock on coffee rush though is the coffee itself and the atmosphere. Walking in you feel as if they're trying too hard and as if you're walking into someone's home. Like, yo we get that it's family owned. There's no need to plaster pictures of the owners and owners family all over the walls. A couple pictures cool. 20 or so pictures comes across excessive.
The coffee itself is creative but lacks that certain something. I don't know if it's the roasters they use or how the combination of ingredients are blended but it just doesn't work.
Maybe they should try mixing things up and trying something new. Otherwise three stars is about all I can give.
