  • We've been to the Good Egg twice since the redecorating. The first time I had the Avocado Toast which is something I enjoy making at home. It is no longer on the menu. It had too much avocado on the toasted bread which made the toast soggy. Oh well! Today I had the biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs and potatoes. The eggs were cold and half the potatoes were cold--strange. Not sure how that happened. The gravy was good but the biscuit under was pretty dry. I didn't complain about this because we were guests of our neighbor. Not sure I'd come back for another meal. The service was good.
