I had pretty high hopes coming here but left feeling rather unimpressed. I ordered a burger and fries and was really disappointed with my meal. Even though I ordered medium rare the burger was really dry and the fries were just not very good either.
Aside from my main dish, everything was pretty positive about the experience. We had an order of cheese curds to share. Nice crisp batter on the outside and fresh tasting cheese on the inside. They have a wide selection of in-house brews. We had the Scotch Ale, which was not bad. The staff were really friendly, even offering us generous samples of their brews. Of our samples, I really liked the porter, which I would definitely order if I came back here.
Atmosphere-wise, there is a lot of seating available. The booths are nice for a group of four to have a nice dinner, drink, and conversation. Overall it is a place I really want to like, but I just couldn't get past a subpar main dish.
