The Cosmopolitan is one of my favorites boutique hotels to stay while in Vegas. It beats rival hotels due to its personalized service and contemporary feel.
The rooms are nice and stylish. We were lucky to receive an upgrade to a larger room and view of Las Vegas (thank you).
We were able to experience an afternoon poolside - Cosmopolitan style. Nice place for people watching. Loads of floating beds so you can bask in the sun, water umbrellas, cabanas, towel service, etc. my only complaint were menu prices. Good lord, $18 for two fish tacos and $36 for two glasses of margaritas (in clear plastic Dixie cups?!) If you're going to charge that much, can't you at least place them in fancy glasses? C'mon, it's the Cosmopolitan - up the serving wear. Service at the pool was a little lackluster. They focused on groups with bottle service vs individuals trying to order.
Overall, I love the hotel, and restaurants. Beverages and fish tacos a la pool side? I can do without.
