| - FYI, I think this is the first Thai restaurant I've seen in a Vegas resort, which is good. Variety is always good.
We ordered the rib eye steak, duck red curry, and two other dishes I barely remember. The duck curry was hands down the best. It was really tasty, if a tad sweet. The crappy part about the dish was that there was barely any duck in it. What duck it did have was tender and well-cooked.
I only ate a piece of the steak - it was ok. The other two dishes I don't remember were average. We also had spring rolls with cream cheese inside - strange, but not bad.
Overall, the food was fine. It's friggin pricey for Thai food ($30+ per person after tax and tip), but that's probably the cheapest place to eat at in Aria, next to the crap-tacular cafe they have. And maybe the buffet which judging from reviews, is pretty crap-tastic itself.
Service here, unlike the rest of Aria, was actually okay. I only had to ask for the check twice. The food, water, etc. and everything all came out okay.
If I was fiending for Thai food and I was in or near Aria, I'd come by. It's not really worth a detour.
