  • Questionable service. My husband was worried about our condensation line (last year it leaked into our wall), so we called to have them come out and see what was up since no water was coming out. Apparently though, the weather was still to dry to have any condensation building up. But, for whatever reason, the technician decided to go outside and look at the condenser, not sure why since it doesn't have anything to do with the condensation line (which is on the opposite side of the house). So he was out there tinkering around and doing whatever and then came back in the house and of course found something to fix on the furnace and charged us $175. A few days later our ac stopped working. I called up AC by J and asked what was up. They sent someone out again and the technician said a fuse blew...hmm, how convenient, considering it was working just fine until the previous tech came out and tinkered around with it. Of course it was Sunday and they had to charge us double!!! A few days later, the ac stopped working AGAIN! We called AC by J and they told us they would of course have to charge us if it didn't have anything to do with their previous work. We had had enough of AC by J ruining our system, we decided to go with another company. The other company came out and found a little problem (probably caused by AC by J) that they said was causing the fuse to blow. Our ac has been working great ever since. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AC BY J.
