Twice my wife and I walked in to Ride Now in Chandler in Nov 2017 with the intention of taking home a side by side. Both times when we asked what the out the door cost was, we received answers like "what do you think is a far price?" and "what are you willing to pay." I told both gentlemen on both visits I was paying cash and they both asked "what do you want your payments to be?" I asked why they could not just give me a price. They said "this is the way we are asked to present price here?" Ride Now is relying on the customer (or "up" in their mind...) to be:
A.) misinformed of the price/value of the vehicle they are shopping for
B.) A poor negotiator
If you are both, you will be their favourite client EVER! In defense of the guys, it's not the sales people that create this culture, the culture at Ride Now in Chandler is created from the top down. When my wife and I expressed our disappointment in the childish way we were handled to both salesmen, they each said "this is how we are asked to present price." I swear they must be managed by a guy that sold cars in the seventies and refuses to change with the times.
We ended up buying elsewhere.
