Have to say this place is rather uninspired. I don't know how anyone could entertain children here; there was simply nothing to do.
The admission prices, particularly for tourists, are exorbitant. We brought visitors from out of town and they did not enjoy this portion of their trip. One of the main attractions which brought us to the Springs Preserve was the current Butterfly exhibit- the website says NOTHING about being closed at 3:00pm. Having arrived at 4:00pm, we missed it, although we were able to see from the outside through the screen. And it did not impress at all- we saw maybe 12 butterflies at most and do not regret not paying for the additional admission price for the exhibit. They have a huge confusing area with green turf- no idea what it could possibly be used for. My partner's mother said the best part was the chairs set up for a wedding ceremony.
