I met with Ray from finance and initially had a very pleasant experience. He examined my income verification and told me we had everything to go and that everything was set and let me drive away in my 2013 Chevy Equinox.
About three days after purchasing my vehicle, an engine light came on stating that there was something wrong with my sensor. I had OnStar run a diagnostic and they stated that a cam-shaft sensor was bad. I contacted the dealership and they did fix the issue. I did ask the service adviser if they had completed an oil change on the vehicle and they stated they had. When examining my OnStar app, it showed that the vehicle only had 17 percent oil life. So this was obviously not completed.
Two days after the vehicle was fixed, I received a text from Ray stating that the bank was not accepting my bank statements and summaries, even though he had previously stated that he is the only one that needs to verify this information. They then came and took my car away.
I know that I don't have the best credit, but was assured that this company was the best when working with individuals who had experienced credit issues. I am totally upset about the level of service, as they should never have let me drive off without being approved when telling me that I was. I even signed all appropriate loan paperwork. Also, I had contact with the company when they were fixing the car and nothing was mentioned during this time when I was at the dealership for over an hour.
I would encourage everyone to be careful when selecting this dealership as I did not find them to be very forthcoming or honest with their dealings. If you do have bad credit or credit issues, please be careful when driving away as they might take your car back.
