Make America great again...while I may lean more to the Right I most certainly do not support the weirdo who owns this hotel. He's a nut. But that's not the point of this review. The hotel is F'N amazing! I mean A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! We checked in on a Friday afternoon around 4:30. We had a very short wait in line and were greeted by Niko. He was genuinely friendly and seriously made us feel welcome.
Being a local, I felt obligated to ask for an upgrade. Niko happily obliged. He could give us a strip view OR for a nominal charge he'd allow us to upgrade to a one bedroom suite with a strip view. Well, "hells yes we will take that one bedroom suite!" Niko handed me back my credit card with both hands! How awesome is that? Felt like I was somewhere in Asia receiving service like this. He offered to walk us to the elevator, we kindly declined for those waiting on line behind us needed their rooms as bad as we did:-)
We were given a room on the 59th floor! The hotel still went higher. I didn't know we had towers so tall in Vegas. Our room was insane! We walked in to find warm hues and a very upscale kitchen. A subzero fridge!? I mean really! They went all out. There was a large dark brown sofa sectional that was quite comfortable. The view was insane! We had a perfect view of the whole strip. You could see the Bellagio fountains!
The bedroom area was equally as nice and the bathroom...WOW! It was huge!! Gigantic! Oh, there were actually 2 bathrooms, one in the main sitting area/living room and one in the bedroom. Perfect for entertaining. There were 2 large flat screen televisions that we were able to use with our laptop and HDMI cables. TV binging at its best!
This is a non smoking hotel (thank God). My hubs smokes on occasion so we easily went down to the floor with the gym, spa and pool. You could walk out the north door and there was a huge patio where one can smoke. Room service was crazy fast, less than 30 minutes!! It's not cheap but then again is it ever? The service at this hotel is top notch and in all honesty, makes me proud. I'm a Vegas native and happy to see there are some places that still have pride in what they do.
Cesar Q. and I had an amazing 3 night staycation at this place and will definitely be back sooner than later. I can say this place tops Signature where we typically stay when enjoying a "staycation".
Way to go Trump Hotel LV!
