  • I was way past due for a visit to the dermatologist for a skin cancer check. Quite honestly, I have been putting it off because my previous dermatologist was quick to biopsy every questionable spot...which involved cutting & resulted in scars. Neither of which I am fond of. So, I did a little research on dermatologists in the Ballantyne area and decided to give ths practice a try. So, the day before my visit, I went online and filled out all the forms to save time on the day of the visit. I was a little peeved when I arrived and they handed me the same forms and said they could not find the ones I submitted online. :-/ Thankfully, after I had filled in name & a few other lines on the first form, they called me back to the front desk & said they found the online submission so I didn't have to continue filling out the forms. So within a minute or 2 after we cleared that up, they called me back. Dr. McElgunn was fast & efficient with the full body screening and thankfully did not find any suspicious moles...yay! All in all, I was out within 30 minutes. I will definitely go back for another screening next year.
