Went here because I really wanted the two bite butter tarts. I had them at the square one location and figured since I was down in the city I would fulfill the craving. I was extremely disappointed when the waitress informed me that they had no longer carried them.
None the less my family and I decided to stay and eat. We ordered a few small plates to share since we were just trying to have a light lunch.
Wild Mushroom Soup - This was delicious and the highlight of my meal. The truffles did not over take the taste and smell of the soup itself. The consistency of the soup remained the same throughout, which is something I appreciate. Sometimes you can get the feeling of the different types of mushrooms in which they put into the soup because they are all cute differently. This however did not have that feeling.
Calamari Fritti - It kind of looked like they just threw the calamari haphazardly onto the plate. The dish itself was not anything special to be honest. The batter was not evenly on the calamari, perhaps got lost in the cooking process...
Truffle Fries - They were good, can not really complain because truffle fries are pretty much the same everywhere.
Angus Beef Sliders - These were yummy bite size burgers. One order comes with three so we ordered another single just to make it a complete four set. Small pickle, cooked nicely and the bun was not soggy.
Ravioli and Garlic Shrimp -This was good however one MAJOR downfall was the tail on the shrimp was still on... That threw me completely off when I cut into my ravioli with the shrimp and took a bite. That was a no beuno..
Overall nothing was really outstanding for me to come back. I would probably go to the square one location so I can get my butter tarts while I am there.
