The busiest airport in Canada and the main hub for Air Canada (Canada's flag carrier), Lester B. Pearson International Airport (or Toronto Pearson for short) is Toronto's gateway to the world. Composed of two terminals (Terminal 1 houses Air Canada and Star Alliance member airlines as well as Emirates and Etihad Airlines; Terminal 3 is home to Oneworld and SkyTeam alliance airlines, as well as independent airlines and charter airlines such as Westjet, Air Transat and Sunwing Airlines) the airline is one of the best I've traveled through.
PROS:
* Terminal 1 has breathtaking architecture.
* U.S. Preclearance available at both terminals
* NEXUS office at Terminal 1
* Canada Border Services Agency offices at both terminals
* Quick connection to bus 192 (Airport Rocket) from the Kipling TTC Subway Station.
* Connector train between both terminals
* Direct flights to Cuba (for U.S. citizens wanting to travel to the island despite the ongoing U.S. economic embargo)
CONS:
* Terminal 2 missing (huh? Terminals 1 & 3, but no #2)
* Few restaurants located both at arrivals and at gates.
* High Airport Taxes (Highest in Canada)
