  • I'm going to keep this simple. I believe the RIO has a systematic scam in place for various customers. Let me explain...I stayed for two nights. Upon checkout, i was asked if I took a Heineken out of the minibar. I responded, "no". He then looked at me and said, "oK, I will remove the charge for $12." I said, "Your G-d right you are, I put the Do NOT Disturb Sign on my door for the entire stay and your cleaning staff has never entered my room. So tell me how the F did you think someone took a beer" ??? I bet if I hadn't checked out in person, they would have kept that BS charge on my bill. I will never stay here again, because you obviously have a system designed to rip people off. I have advised the local BBB and the Gambling and Hotel assc. PS- you are obviously catering to an "urban' crowd now and I am not sure how anyone thinks that will result in more profit.
