  • I'm mainly writing this review for tourists that are in town looking to pick up whatever they need. Go somewhere else. If your budget is that tight, then you didn't plan well. But if you insist, then read on. The Wal-Mart itself isn't horrible. It's somewhat big. It's bright. I usually can find what I'm looking for if it's not groceries/produce. There's a Walmart grocery further down the road in a nicer area. The prices are low-which is why most people go to Wal-Mart, I assume. The cashiers are friendly enough, and I give them a lot of credit for dealing with all the nonsense they probably deal with day in and day out for low wages. There is a fair amount of security guards. If you go late at night to pick up non grocery items, it's not so bad. I try to buy as much as I can when there is nobody there, so I don't have to come here any more than I have to. The reason why I'm giving this Wal-Mart such a low rating is the people who patronize here. It's awful. 99% of the people who come here are careless and uncivilized. I'd go as far as to say that it can be dangerous. If you can even make it to the store, that's half the battle. People walk right in the middle of the lanes so you can't drive anywhere to park. They drive right in the middle of them too so often times, nobody can get around and you're playing chicken. I would recommend parking far away from the store, but that's not safe either. They double park. They leave carts anywhere and everywhere. They dump their trash all over the place. They pull out of their parking spots quickly without looking to see if anyone is behind them. It's amazing to me there aren't dozens of accidents on a daily basis. They are completely mindless. And that's before you even get in the store. If there is a Speedy Checkout line open with 20 items or less, they pay no attention, or they'll divide 40 items between 2 people and pay separately thinking they outsmarted someone. The self checkout area is constantly backed up. People don't understand the concept of forming a line. They'll take up whole aisles and leave no room for you to maneuver around them. They let their kids run around and do whatever they want. They are absolutely inconsiderate. And if you dare even say something, they go into full rude mode and act completely put off. That's not safe either. You'll ask yourself, is all of this work and hassle really worth saving the extra few bucks, or would I rather drive a few more miles down the road to Summerlin and go somewhere where I can get what I need hassle free? I'll answer that for you. It's not worth it. Go somewhere else. Dirty Vegas, this place is. If you have no other option, best of luck. Hope you brought a lot of patience, and hope you don't get in a car accident.
