| - A few days ago I went to this salon and got a pedicure. It was fair. I thought it would be nice to have a place to get my nails done that is so close to my home instead of several miles away, which is what I do normally with my regular nail place. I couldn't get in yesterday to my regular place so I thought it would be great to try this one out. I made an appointment for 2pm. I asked the man who answered the phone to give me someone with a lot of experience since my nails are so long and I really wanted this to work out, he told me everyone is very good. (Typical answer from these places) I arrived a bit early, about 2:05 they sat me at a station where I sat for another 1/2 hour. The gal started on my nails and then just after she had prepped them, she told me someone else had to do my nails because she had an appointment with someone else. I was moved again to another station where I sat for another 15 minutes. Then this guy sits down and keeps saying to me how busy it is, I couldn't even respond, because I was pretty upset by this time. This guy takes my hand and he is shaking, so I am assuming he is fairly new at this. I was thinking great, I seriously debated getting up and waiting for another technician, but I figured I would give him the benefit of the doubt. ( I should have left ) I have been getting my nails done for over 25 years, so I am pretty used to all that goes into maintaining them as well as how it should be done. He opened the powder that was a little pinker than I normally get and told him I didn't think that was what I currently had on, he replied with, "this is what they used last time". I told him I had never been there before. He said it is the same. (Whatever) I noticed him using a lot more liquid when he started with the powder. It was running all over my fingers. I asked him if he had been doing this long, he said yes (Typical) I knew this wasn't going to be good, I should have walked. After the wet powder job he was attempting to dremel under the nail on two of my nails and he went to far and cut that part of the skin that attaches your skin to the top of your nail, and I was bleeding, I can't tell you how painful it was. He also didn't file the part of the tip that is usually left thin, he just left that thick. Then when he was filing again with the dremel he nicked my nail and left a big groove in it. I really just wanted to get out of there. Once I left and got out to my car with bleeding fingers I noticed 2 of my nails were filed very crooked. Needless to say they weren't when I went in, I will not be going back here. I can't wait for my nails to heal so I can get them fixed properly. I want to say the guy that did my nails name was Henry. Stay far away from him.
