This review is for the arrival experience of a Us citizen on a flight originating in the USA--your mileage may vary, eh? The customs process was pretty seamless, make sure you fill out your declaration card completely (including signature and date at the bottom, my bad) before proceeding to one of the kiosks in the customs area. Once you get to a kiosk, you'll scan your passport and insert the declaration card. Assuming everything went OK, you'll get a print out/receipt of your declaration card and you proceed with the throngs of humanity going through customs/border control (not sure what you call it).
The line moved really quickly despite a lot of people in the area, and the border control/customs folks were friendly and helpful. Some people got waved on and had an expedited screening (Canadian citizens?) but I was directed to talk to an agent. No prob, just a few quick questions.
Proceed on and pick up your baggage, then keep walking, following the Exit/Sortie signs--make sure you have your declaration card handy. Line moves quickly, hand your card to the next agent and you're done!
