  • If it was just one thing went wrong, I probably wouldn't be writing a negative review but after several things, I just can't recommend this company. First, when we ordered they said it would be 8 to 10 business days. At 8 days, I hadn't heard a word from them so I checked the status and was told that the glass had delivered but had not been inspected so it would be sometime following week before it would be installed. I reminded them of their 8 to 10 day installation and then of course got all of the excuses about being short staffed etc... it ended up being 12 days and the owner did apologize and offer a $100 credit which was satisfactory. We were remodeling and not living in the house at the time so, I was not there during installation but when I went to check on the installation the next morning, I found puddles and drips of some white liquid all over the floor leading down the stairs. Additionally, the shower door would not open. We would tug and tug and it wouldn't open. So, I called the company and they came out and cleaned up the liquid saying it was caused from the wet drill that they use to drill through the tile. They also told me that it's normal that the door would stick like that and that we needed to push it in before pulling it out and that it was caused by the door sweep at the bottom which is what was preventing us from opening the door and that it would soften as we used it and would allow us to open and close the door normally. Ummmm...ok. In the mean time, I noticed things sticky residue that appeared to be from clear packing tape that was left in several places on the glass, noticed several places where the clear silicone that should have been applied around the glass in a neat bead was very sloppily applied. So, we moved into the house and have been using the shower 2 to 3 times a day for the past six weeks. The door still sticks, we still have to push it in and pull it out in order to get the door open and the door does not close normally... when allowed to close naturally, the door stops short of closing completely leaving a 1 inch gap between the door panel and the fixed panel. We have to then push the door in and pull it back out, making sure it is closed perfectly otherwise we get water leaking out of the door. Speaking of leakage... A few weeks ago I noticed that water was leaking from two spots along the bottom of the shower with mold growing out of one of the areas where water has been trapped underneath the glass. I called and was told someone would be getting back to me. Never heard from them so a week later I called back and was given one day/time option when they had someone available. I told them I was not available that day and needed another time. Was told that they would call me back with an alternate time and here it is another week later and I have not heard a word from anyone. At this point I guess we will just fix it ourselves but the lack of communication and poor customer service means that I would not recommend this company.
