  • District 5 Interiors is a new home furnishings store in FreeMoreWest near the Panthers' Stadium and Cedar Street, owned by the same folks as Details in Park Road shopping center.. The permanent sign and landscaping will go a long way to show that they're open, but in the meantime just take a look at the banner on the building. It is in an old candy warehouse with gorgeous barrel vaulted ceilings and is chock full of goodies from dining room tables to sofas to paintings and accessories. I went in looking for breakfast table chairs and the owner was very nice and helpful. I found a pair that were comparable in price to West Elm, but more original of course so I appreciated that. The aesthetic is transitional mixed with a little rustic with some modern and shabby chic thrown in. There's lots of reclaimed wood pieces. Also they offer interior decorating services and will custom order anything for you. They went on a hunt for an impossible to find piece for me. I was very impressed by the store and the inventory turns quickly so that means to check back frequently. Next time I'm looking for furniture, I would definitely start here and continue on to South End Exchange, etc...
