  • Mickey, thanks for your reply. It is a sad reflection on a company that it takes a Yelp review to get a response from them. I've been asking our property manager for weeks when something is going to be done, but she always says she doesn't know. Now I know that you and the HOA are willing to let my property be worthless for 3 more months. I don't know where you get your information, but I had APEX install a whole new air handler, coils, and the works last August right after I bought the condo and the HOA was saying the problem was in my unit. The Ac still didn't work until the broken pipe under unit 8 was fixed about a month later. Then it worked great! I wonder if I had even needed to spend that $2500 for the new Ac. So, the problem is not in my unit as you say. 3 weeks ago Tch plumbing found that there is a leak running from units 7-8. I am in 11. I am the last one in line from the chiller. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that the last one in the line of a leaking pipe won't get as much cold water to make cold air as the preceding units, which is why they are not complaining as much. Check with unit #10. She has complained to her landlord about her Ac and she was complaining about it to me last Friday. Check with the new owners of unit 20 who have to use a window unit to get any cool air at all. Check with unit 9. They gave up on the chiller years ago and use two portable Ac units. Unit #8 has complained directly to the HOA. I know all of this to be facts. So, as you can see, everyone past the break at unit 7 is having trouble with the Ac. I was getting ice cold Ac until unit 20 attempted to have the lines cleared about a month ago which resulted in the pipe bursting, which caused me to have warm Ac and humidity of 70% in my unit. According to APEX, there isn't enough cold water by the time it gets to my unit to take the humidity out of the air. So, Mickey, you need to get your facts straight before you respond next time. In the meantime, I have a consultation set up with an attorney to see what can be done to compensate me for loss of income on my unit and the lack of Ac for which I have to pay the HOA every month.
