| - Thing about Nagasaki Grill is, you don't come for the atmosphere or the service. The place is owned by an elderly Japanese couple who, as far as I can tell, are also the only employees. It's located next to a McDonald's on a part of Southern that is constantly under construction. If you dine-in, you will likely witness the owner shoo out a homeless person who is trying to use the "For Customer's Only" restroom. So why did I give it 5 Stars, then?
THE FOOD IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. As a woman who enjoys curry-anything immensely, I can say without hesitation that Nagasaki serves the best Curry Beef. In fact, their Curry Beef is one of the most delicious things I have ever put in my mouth, period. Also, if you order the meal as an entree, it includes a chicken yakatori skewer, two dumplings and miso soup, all for under $12! I drive a good thirty minutes out of my way at least once a week to pick up Nagasaki Grill on my way home from work because it is so mouth-wateringly yummy and satisfying. The place has been around for over 25 YEARS, and I can taste why. I highly, HIGHLY recommend coming here. If you don't care for curry, the Tanin Beef is also extraordinary.
