after reading everyone's yelp review on this place, i've realized mine was probably the worst because i was involved in theft from this hotel. yeah, you read right.. THEFT!
i stayed there on january 4 for one night and booked a king. when we got into the room, the bed wasn't made, the trash wasn't emptied and there were gnats flying in the bathroom by the shower.
we went back down to the front desk, they apologized and offered us an upgraded room which was very sweet.
this suite was great and all until the next morning we found ants crawling in the tub and in the bed after we got out of it. i told the front desk and they waived the resort fee and gave me the GM's business card
now here's the shady part...
afterwards, my friend realized he left his Rayban eyeglasses in the room and so we called the hotel after we made it back to los angeles. kindly, the agent said they found the glasses and they collected my credit card number so they can ship it.
.... IT'S NOW JANUARY 26 AND I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED THEM!!!
Prior to this, we called every other day and we would get brushed off by the front desk saying the general manager would call us back or he's in a meeting, he's stepped away from his desk!! Well enough is enough and I finally got a hold of him.
I tell him my situation...
He says....
"I'm sorry this is the first time I'm hearing about this...the front desk doesn't have them. I will ask my assistant general manager if she's seen them and call you back."
Three days later... I don't get a call back and the GM says no one has them.
I asked "then what are you gonna do now because one of them reported they had it and took my credit card number..??"
he says
"I'm not sure." YOU'RE THE GENERAL MANAGER, DO SOMETHING!!!
Nothing was offered. It's now february 7th and I havent heard from them at all!!!
This was my first theft issue ever at a hotel. I'm definitely not coming back.
