First of all they give 1 free class that really sells your kid and they want to do it. They provide the basic uniform and then schedule you to come back for the class. My son is 4 and was so excited. We were too! We came back for the class and it was o my 20-25 minutes long. Then is when they bring you into the office to discuss payment and a contract. They wanted $1400 for a year. I'm sorry but for 1 -2 classes per week at a 20-25 minute length I don't see how that is worth it. Definitely felt like all they want is your money. We didn't sign up and will be looking elsewhere that doesn't want to take you for all your money.
Update:
According to the reply from this martial arts academy I am reviewing the wrong place. That is completely incorrect. I used to live in Simi Valley, CA, I just haven't updated my profile. And he said I have the pricing wrong, but I still have the paperwork to prove it. Yes, they've won a lot of awards. I'm not putting them down because I cannot afford it, which is rude of him to accuse me of. I simply will NOT pay that much for one 30 minute class per week!
