| - I don't like giving places bad reviews, but my experience here was pretty bad from start to finish.
One of my girlfriends and I purchased a voucher on Dealfind for a facial and a shellac manicure and pedicure. We scheduled the services on the day we planned to celebrate my friend's birthday.
Everyone working seemed nice enough, but when we showed up they weren't even close to ready and were kept waiting 20 minutes (even though there was no one having services done when we got there). I overheard a few other frustrated customers complaining about being kept waiting later on. The manicure wasn't great - my nails ended up uneven and bumpy.
At a few minutes before 2:00 (when we were supposed to be finished with all services), we had only just finished with the nail services and were told they would not be ready for our facials for a while, although they couldn't say how long. The person who did the facials wasn't even at the spa. Additionally, if she came in to do the facials, we would have our facials one at a time and we were looking at another hour and a half. We rescheduled our facials for the next day but my friend decided the experience was so bad, she didn't even want to come back.
When I returned the next day for my facial, I arrived on time and was kept waiting for 30 minutes. When they finally brought me back the esthetician was friendly, but after about ten minutes, a few of the other employees came back into the room where I was having the facial and they sat there chatting to each other Spanish for a good 20-25 minutes. I'm used to a little privacy when getting a treatment and couldn't believe how unprofessional the situation was... glad I wasn't getting a bikini wax! They also informed me that they weren't making money from the coupon deal... and they won't get any return customers if the service is consistently this terrible!
I guess with some of these coupon sites, the deals really are too good to be true and you get what you pay for.
