  • So my experience with Nicks quick fix. When I first messaged nick I told him I had some sort of irrigation leak. I assumed in my sprinkler system. I specifically told him that the leak itself probably would not bother me so much if I didn't have "dogs" (plural) that liked to play in the mud and then bring it in my house. Then I asked him if I had to be home for the service or could he access my back yard and take care of it then I could pay him with a ccd over the phone or something. I am a busy executive who has many service people that assist me with different things around my home. I expect them to work independently and all do. I had to wait over a week for nick. So the day of, it appears he sent me an email in the morning, to my personal email stating that his car broke down with whatever, then another stating he was on his way. Then another one that said to please call him, which I assumed was for payment. Since silly me assumed he fixed it. So I called him back hours later to ensure I paid him. There was no answer and his VM was full. So I emailed letting him know I tried calling and that his vm was full but that he should have my number since I had just tried calling. Eventually I get a message back saying "I don't know what happened with you, we were there like we planned, dogs wouldn't let us back, so that's not our error. As of now if you want to come back it wouldn't be until next Thursday, that is the soonest availability I have" Now, I probably shouldn't have said what I said next, but in my defense, it was pretty darn funny and I was irritated that I had waited over a week for this knuckle head and he tries to blame me about not telling him I had dogs. Which I uploaded screen shots of the conversation, I clearly did tell him. So this is what I said next and then I'll also quote his response. So I said "I literally have a shitzu/poodle and a 4 month old Great Dane. I have a pool person and yard people hat have no issues getting in the back yard. That's hilarious! Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha" This was his response: "I could care less if you think that's funny, I do not enter yards especially when Im unfamiliar with the dogs. I dont know your dogs, you didnt tell me about dogs and you didnt respond for like 4 hours. Go ahead and take your ignorance elsewhere." Of course I said I would and thanked him. Hopefully nick takes this as a lesson learned. Maybe ask for a customers phone number if you cannot work independently. When someone specifically asks you up front if they need to be home for you to do a job, do not say you are able to when clearly you are not. Three, either attention to detail or memory, not sure which one his issue is, or he just lies, because I clearly (see screenshots) told him I had "dogs" as in more than one, that like to play in the mud and bring it in the house. If he had more questions about my dogs, he should have asked. I assumed since he was in the yard business he had no issues with dogs and could work independently. This appears not to be the case. With all that being said, i cannot say one way or the other of what his work is like, I'm only speaking on my experience in regards his ability to work independently, with out supervision and his lack of customer service. Clearly I would not recommend him based on those two things. If you're a busy professional such as my self and heavily rely on people to support you at home to help maintain a work life balance, then steer clear from nick. I have an amazing cleaning lady, handyman, pooper scooper and pool service (who can all work independently and I don't have to be home, so if you need a referral) and I have a new sprinkler repair guy coming out on Monday. I'll be sure to update to let you know how that works out. I'm staying hopeful since I told him I'd my experience with nick and he assured me I wouldn't have the same issue and he was even able to give me a quote (which was pretty cheap) so I'm excited to have him come fix my sprinkler Monday! Thanks for reading. Stay away from nick. Sincerely, Ignorant Kel (Bwahahahahaha) Please excuse typos, but I think you get the gist of my experience.
