Not what it use to be. Bad internet!
I personally have a soft spot in my heart for the Wynn and Encore because that's where my husband and I got married 5 years ago. It's an amazing hotel full of beautiful details and service. Lately, however, I feel like the standards have come down a bit. Don't get me wrong, it's still beautiful, but the rooms are a bit in disrepair.
Upon checking in, I noticed the the lamp and tables were a bit dusty. The bathroom light was broken and hanging from the ceiling. The XS club was so loud I couldn't sleep on the 14th floor. We asked to be moved, but unless we wanted to "upgrade" it didn't seem they would be accommodating.
One day the maid came and cleaned half our room. We walked in and saw the bathroom was clean but the bed was unmade and the rest of the room was still messy. She showed up an hour later and said she was on lunch, but came to finish.
The Internet was AWFUL. I mean terrible reception. Unfortunately they don't offer free wifi like most hotels either which is disappointing considering how spotty the reception is. The Wynn was very smoky unfortunately. Not the usual. Encore was better as far as the air quality.
The hotel area is still pretty and well kept. Friendly staff and dealers. Beautiful design.
