  • I was trying Goodlife Fitness for a couple of months on short-term contracts. I was pretty satisfied - particularly with this location. They then acquired Extreme Fitness and double-charged me without notice for a personal training bill I had written confirmation had been paid off in full. I was impressed that Goodlife admitted their mistake and then promised a refund. After a couple of weeks of no refund and several inquiries, I got a phone message where they said "well, despite what we told you earlier, we're not going to." I'm glad they decided to cheat me before I had a chance to commit full time. They got a tiny bit of money and lost a near-definite customer. Still most companies would wait for you to sign a year commitment before showing their true colours. Four stars for gym subtracting three for unethical practices of head office.
