  • "We both know that it's not fashionable to love me, But you don't go cause truly there's nobody for you but me." This is you serenading a piece of meat. Well, actually, that was the delicious homemade Italian sausage that was being served at Wicked Spoon. Try as I might, my willpower wasn't strong enough to resist the call of the tasty meat buffet, as it was the very first area of the restaurant that we decided to hit up. From the homemade Italian sausage as mentioned above, to some freshly cut prime rib and pork shoulder, I had to try every delectable morsel in this section of the restaurant. I have to say, though, of all the carnivorous wonders that they had there, my favorite things were definitely the pork shoulder, Italian sausage, and, even though it's technically not a meat, the duck fat fried potatoes. My god, it had to be so unhealthy, but I'd still eat it every single day of my life if I could. The other sections of the restaurant weren't too far behind in tastiness, either. Although I didn't have too much from it, the area with fish and veggies and stuff, what I did have was delicious. Especially this little black truffle dusted potato cone thingy (I have a picture to make up for my lack of eloquence in the description of it). In what seemed to be the Asian food section, I was actually kind of disappointed in the selection of sushi. I mean, what was there was really good and all. There's no denying that. It's just that there were literally like only three choices in sushi, and all were a little run of the mill. Luckily, though, Wicked Spoon isn't really a sushi place anyways! The dessert buffet... I really can't say enough about it. I don't think there was one dish there that I can really call my favorite. Everything I had there was just so tasty. I tried just about everything at it that I could, with the exception of the ice cream/gelato, because of some intense lactose intolerance. The stuff that I did have, though, was absolutely out of this world. Such creative little treats with such varying and delightful tastes. That's another collection of things that I sure wouldn't mind getting to nom on every day if I could. Of course, the same could be said of basically everything that I got to try at Wicked Spoon. It's a restaurant that I would definitely eat at again, even if it is $50 a head. The price was absolutely worth it, and I would certainly recommend Wicked Spoon to anyone who happens to be even remotely close to the Cosmopolitan. Eat at this place and you won't regret it!
