  • Let's be clear: you go to Sidecar for the cocktails. The food is all around good, with several strong showings on the menu, especially in the soups and seafood categories. Steak frites are a dependable winner, as are the soups. But let's not mince words: you go to Sidecar for the cocktails. They are incredible, and made with care and love. Ice is shaped appropriately for the glass. The list is misleading - the barmen will make what you want. I recommend the Sazerac, The Old Fashioned, and oh my, the Bad Ass Mojito. I recommend finding something interesting and expanding your horizons. You go to Sidecar for the cocktails.
