  • Where do I start. I don't rate very many places this low so that should tell you something. The only good thing about this place is the fact that there is a happy hour with half off specials. This included several sushi options, tempura, spring rolls etc. But with the happy hour came a very young crowd. Apparently if you are in your early 20s in order for a place to be hip loud rap and techno music must be blasted through the speakers at a club-like volume. It was so loud the waitress had to lean into our table and get almost in our face in order to hear us and be heard. On that note, we left the venue with our ears ringing and our throats sore from trying to conduct a conversation over our meal. Service was slow and our meals appeared at random throughout the the evening.Thus leaving some people waiting while others ate. As for quality, the fish was fresh tasting. The spring rolls and tempura shrimp was nice and crunchy. But the rolls were very poorly made--probably just made quickly since it was very busy during happy hour. They fell apart as soon as you picked them up which should not happen. The menu as a whole had many interesting options. But any sushi restaurant that has any real clout in my book would never have chips and salsa on their menu.
