  • There's a lot of fun packed into this small museum. I took my boys (ages 5 and 3) who are both dinosaur enthusiast. They spent at least an hour checking out the dinosaur fossils and animated dinosaur exhibit. There even was a small climbing structure and slide which the boys enjoyed. Downstairs we were able to check out the jail and mining tunnels. Outside you can mine for gold and dig for fossils. There are large wooden puzzles throughout, which we enjoyed putting together. We went mid week during the summer and it wasn't too crowded. The staff was nice but not very interactive. I did not see any cafeteria but the surrounding areas had some restaurants and ice cream that were within walking distance
