For a good majority of my time in Pittsburgh I lived in the east end of the city and just now have visited here. Not sure why it had taken me so long to motivate myself to enter these doors, but it finally happened.
Many of my friends have talked about this place and how great every product is within. Not sure, but I just didn't believe that at first.
Walking in I was surprised. It reminded me of the old markets that I grew up with. A lot of freshness held within with a cozy feel. While walking the aisles I was seeing items I had no idea existed. It finally hit me that this might be the place I want to be shopping at due to my long list of allergies. It was like a light bulb lit up above my head.
While my friend was obtaining the items he needed I went on my way and decided to read the labels of a few items. I am so happy to have found this oasis in the city.
Big bonus for me, they have Jeni's Splendid ice cream, straight from Columbus, OH.
