  • I cannot say enough good things about Emily!! A few months ago I experienced a hair nightmare where the stylist went to town on bleach and seriously damaged my hair. I nursed it for a while, and let about two inches grow before fixing it, pretty much wearing my hair up with headbands every day. This weekend I was in town for a wedding and couldn't handle it anymore, so I started calling around looking for someone who could fit me in. By some amazing stroke of luck I was able to get an appointment the same day, and I am so, SO happy it turned out to be with Emily! I explained to her that I wanted it softened up, close to my natural color on the top and faded gently through the ends. She was so decisive about her color choices, and explained to me what she was doing every step of the way. She ended up doing a reverse balayage with the color closest to my natural, leaving the porous ends untouched for the time being. Conversation flowed super smoothly the whole time and it was truly a pleasure to hang out with her while she was creating her masterpiece on my head. After the balayage had developed she washed it out and then applied a glaze in a slightly darker level than my ends all over to blend everything. I literally could not believe my eyes when she was finished- it was like she plucked my vision right out of my head and made it a reality. My hair looks and feels amazing! Such an instant confidence boost. Thank you, Emily!! You are awesome.
