  • Yea, you gotta wear full pads. But I am old now, and I am not as good as I was in my teens when I skated every day. Now that I'm old, and I've spent a lot on my education, I appreciate the pads. Call them my safety blanket for my golden years. And yea, its not the most gnarly park I've ever ridden. Which again, is fine by me. I'm old, fat, and prone to eat concrete a few times a day. Just surviving is a good day at the skate park for me, so I appreciate that its kinda calmer than some of the other parks I've ridden over the years. I give it four stars. I like the Tempe skate park. When the lady is off playing soccer I can slip away and skate for a couple hours, and that is good enough for me. Could it be better? Sure, always room to improve. But I am happy as a clam here.
