| - I've been to this dealership 3 times trying to look at a BMW. It's a miserable excuse for a dealership.
1) Horrific attention to detail...from no one noticing me looking, to no one knowing the gas mileage numbers for any of the cars, to having no idea where certain cars were on the lot.
2) Anther sad point: Not listening. When I open with "I'm thinking about the 3 series wagon, if you don't have what I'm looking for, don't try and get me into an SUV", don't run around trying to find a wagon on the lot you obviously never walk, then return to ask me, "Have you ever considered the BMW SUV?".
3) Up-sell, up-sell, up-sell: When I asked about the basic 4 series, the attempted up-sell to the "tech" package literally never stopped until I had to interrupt the manager and say pointedly: "I'm OK looking behind me to park, and don't need a $2000 version of the same Google maps I get for free on my phone-". His response, "ugh...well the tech package gets better re-sale value". If I were buying FOR the re-sale value, I wouldn't be buying a new car.
The experience felt like a time-share sell. One incompetent up-seller would pass you up the chain so that I had to explain the same requirements over and over.
