  • Just to clarify....my son had an amazing experience and intends to go back for more ink soon. His tattoo looks great and the artist and staff were helpful, friendly and informative. I would 100% recommend this shop to others. My personal issue with latex is severe and frustrating and isolating at times but this in no way reflects on this shop. After reading this review I see that it unfairly made these guys seem like they were at fault. Not at all and that was not my intention. This shop has no complaints from me. It's latex that I hate but for this type of business, latex is often best. Hard to pierce effectively without using latex as it's got the only reasonable grip out of all the materials I learned this first hand when I got a tongue piercing years ago where the piercer lost his grip, his fingers slipped causing me to bleed for at least 5 minutes. To summarize, not only is my sensitive skin not their fault, but the widely used backup glove material is also beginning to to cause allergic reactions and hives in wearers. So that's my update....Enlightened Soul Tattoo Shop? Good! Latex? Very BD!
